How can I receive services?

The Pawling Resource Center, established in 1976, was developed and nurtured with the intention of responding to compelling needs in the community.

 

Our mission is to enhance the lives of area residents by giving assistance to individuals in need and to local nonprofit organizations by providing information, referrals, and tangible services.

Food Pantry

 

Available to all who live, work, have a household member who attends school or church in Pawling. A short intake form must be completed and proof of eligibility produced. Food Pantry recipients can receive food twice a month.

Transportation

 

Those who receive ride services must live in the geographical town of Pawling.

​

Medical Equipment Loan Closet

 

Available to anyone in the region.

Adopt a Family

 

Recipients must live in the geographical town of Pawling. An intake form must be completed.

Proof of Eligibility

 

You can prove eligibility in several ways:

 

If you live in Pawling, please provide a utility or medical bill mailed to you at your address.

If you work in Pawling, please provide a pay stub or note from your employer.

If you have a child attending a Pawling school, please provide a note from the school.

If you attend worship services in Pawling, please provide a note from your clergy.​​

(NOW Open Wednesdays from 10 am to 5 pm)
