How to qualify for services at the Pawling Resource Center

 

All local residents are eligible for assistance when needed. You can receive services if you live, work or worship in the Town or Village of Pawling.

Proof of residency in Pawling is not related to national residency status.

You can prove residency by providing one of several ways:

    • Driver’s license or any valid ID with address listed.
    • A utility, telephone or rent invoice mailed to your residence.
    • A document with proof of employment, which could be a W2 form, a letter from the employers, a tax return, etc..
    • A letter from clergy verifying your worship status in a Pawling church.

How to request a ride to a medical appointment

You may phone the office at 845-855-3459 a minimum of five business days in advance to request a ride. Medical appointments should be scheduled between 9am and 3pm, Monday through Friday (weather permitting). There are no appointments scheduled on legal holidays. Rides are scheduled based upon the availability of a volunteer.
