On Saturday September 16, the kind folks from Positively Pawling set up a table and collected items for the Food Pantry of the Pawling Resource Center.   Glenn Carey led this fine band of do-gooders and posted a list of needed items the previous week for the Trinity Pawling faculty and on Facebook.  The following items were collected through community generosity:   435 rolls of Paper towels & TP and tissues boxes, food, personal care & cleaning items totaling 655 lbs., 205 diapers and packs of wipes, plus $613 in contributions and a...

Jon Ellingworth, Pastor at The Lutheran Church of Christ The King in Pawling, has been called to lead the congregation at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waverly, Iowa. Pastor Ellingworth will address his parishioners for the final time on August 27, and will be feted with a farewell luncheon after services.   Pawling Resource Center’s Tenth Annual Walk-a-thon, Walk So They May Ride, is scheduled for September 23rd, 2017. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Resource Center, located at 126 East Main Street in Pawling. Proceeds will benefit the Resource Center, which provides services to the needy in the town and village of Pawling.
