By Susan Stone During 2016 Pawling experienced an increase in community need, and the Pawling Resource Center was there with expanded services to accommodate all who required assistance from the Center’s signature programs. Most notable among these was the 23% increase in overall community members served at the Resource Center Food Pantry, with services to children, specifically, increasing by 42.1%. A group of 10 volunteers from United Way donated their time and energy to the Pawling Resource Center on Saturday, November 5th. John Brockway, Pawling Resource Center Property Committee Chairman provided an organized list of tasks which were completed by the end of day.With good cheer, the volunteers spread gravel, hung the new PRC banner, and did outdoor repair work around the building.
