February brings a welcome donation from the Church of the Latter Day Saints

Pawling Resource Center is the recipient of the good will and generosity of many organizations, local and regional, whose members open up their hearts to give generously.  This week the Resource Center received a donation from the Church of the Latter Day Saints of 25 cases of shampoos, personal hygiene items, tin foil, baby food, etc.  Member Carol Witman orchestrated this effort, and drove to the regional warehouse in Piscataway NJ with her family to pick up and deliver the items. The Church donated almost $1000 worth of items, which were chosen from their warehouse stock which is purchased with funds donated monthly by the members.

Carol and her family arrived on this unseasonable sunny Saturday laden with goods that the Resource Center often does not have in stock.  Clients who utilize the food pantry at the Pawling Resource Center will be very grateful for this abundance of things like deodorant, shaving cream, and razors that are often in short supply.  Many thanks!
