AT&T Presents a $2500 Check to the Pawling Resource Center to support Food Bank and Holiday Food Distribution

Posted on Dec 22, 2014

Needy residents of Pawling know they can rely on having bountiful holidays, thanks to the Pawling Resource Center. The Center, which has been around for 38 years, has a year-round food bank, and distributes special holiday meals to people in the community. Other services include providing rides to medical appointments & food shopping, making social service referrals, and operating a medical loan closet.

The PRC is generously supported through donations like this from ATT, as well as the Dutchess County Office for the Aging, the Regional Food Bank, private foundations and individuals, and very active Pawling community members, who operate food drives, adopt families for Christmas gifts, purchase food boxes when shopping at Hannaford’s, and walk in with hundreds of bags of food and personal care items to donate.
