Pawling Resource Center Hires Office and Program Coordinator

The Pawling Resource Center, located at 126 East Main Street, a local charitable organization devoted to offering assistance to anyone in need in the immediate community, especially the hungry, the elderly, and the homebound, announces the hiring of Terry Ariano as Office and Program Coordinator. The newly created position is part time and will broadly assist the organization in its mission.

Ms. Ariano joins the organization with substantial experience in the not-for-profit environment. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island University and has served overseas in the US Peace Corps. As a Pawling residentfor 23 years, she has been actively involved in the community, including service on the board of directors of the Historical Society of Quaker Hill and Pawling and the Westchester County Historical Society.

In her new capacity, she will work closely with clients,volunteers and board members of the Pawling Resource Center. Her responsibilities include office management, program services administration, volunteer support, public relations, list management, event/fundraising coordination and other support functions.

As a consequence of the new hiring, beginning on June 14, the Pawling Resource Center will now be open on Saturdays – a service expansion that will allow community members who are not available on weekdays to participate in the organization.
